In summer the HEP surplus is exported. Fish and forestry are traditionally significant sectors. With agriculture, they account for only 6% ofthe work force and: 3% of GDP, but to many Norwegians they are important enough to merit the rejection ofEU membership. Salmon farms are especially etticient.
